Sauze d'Oulx sits at 1,510 metres, while the Via Lattea ski area stretches all the way up to 2,789 metres, which gives good conditions for snow reliability higher up in the system. Night-time temperatures stay consistently below zero throughout the winter season, from minus 9 degrees in January to minus 1 degree in April, which is favourable for snowmaking at altitude.
