High Altitude Ski Resorts in the Alps Snow-sure resorts

High Altitude Resorts for Snow Reliability

Altitude plays a decisive role in snow reliability in the Alps. The higher a resort is located, the longer the season lasts and the better the snow quality. This is particularly true late in the season, in March and April, when lower resorts can be hit by above zero temperatures and rain while the high altitude resorts still offer powder snow and cold conditions. We have selected eight resorts that stand out thanks to their high elevation.
